Antique Banjo Player Sketch: December 1878 LDW - Signed with the Initials LDW and dated as being from Miss Stows Sketch Class, December 27th, 1878. Depicting a Gentleman Banjo player sitting on a short stool and playing to an audience of a single bird. Age-related paper changes include universal tanning and some cracks to the matte surrounding the image. No out-of-frame inspection has been made. 9 x 12 image window. 16.5 x 19.5-inch frame.
