Jacob Ruppert Beer Tray Circa 1940s - Description Jacob Ruppert Beer Tray Circa 1940s. Ruppert Beer and Ale metal serving tray oxblood red with white and gold text. Size: 13 inches. Cond: vintage condition, gently used bar item. Ruppert, Jacob (1867 to 1939), was one of New York s most prominent brewers: producing Knickerbocker Lager and Ruppert s Pale Ale. He and a partner purchased the New York Highlanders baseball team in 1915 changed their name to the New York Yankees and brought the Boston Red Sox pitcher George Herman: Babe: Ruth to New York in 1919. Ruppert later brought Lou Gehrig and Joe DiMaggio to the Yankees. We provide in house packing including materials, at no charge, on most items presented to help reduce costs for our patrons.
