Original Grateful Dead Graphic Art: Peace Bears in the Woods Original Graphic Design by Jennifer Hathaway Payton copyright 1989 and approved by Jerry Garcia for use on authorized band merch produced by Not Fade Away of Woodstock, NY. Includes provenance from the artist in an attestation letter. Ms. Payton relays an anecdote that Jerry left a sticky thumbprint on the top right margin of the work when he was viewing it for approval. The colors and details remain bright, bold, and cheerful on this mark-up design board and 30+ years later the Peace Bears are still dancing in the woods. Framed size: 21 x 17 inches. Included in the photos provided is an example of the shirts made from this design proof ( no shirt included in this lot).
