Original Negative and Art Mock Up for Arthur Lee & LOVE Poster Circa 1967 With Provenance

The use of their signature font is prominent on the block-outs and negative spaces.  These materials have been in the possession of   Elektra Records;  Artist Management until this time. Provenance  Ric Aliberte Collection.

Love is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1965. Led by Arthur Lee, Love was one of the first racially diverse American rock bands. A varied genre style emerged from this diversity; garage rock, folk-rock, and psychedelic, drawing from an eclectic range of sources including, blues, jazz, flamenco, and orchestral pop.

Love would come to be praised by critics as their third album, Forever Changes (1967), became generally regarded as one of the best albums of the 1960s. It was added to the Library of Congress's National Recording Registry in 2011.
