Rickenbacker Model 4003 Bass: Red -  Pre-owned, vintage used Red Rickenbacker 4003 bass. Kept in a controlled environment, played & tuned weekly. The 4003 has collected a number of famous fans, including Geddy Lee, Chris Squire, Paul McCartney, Roger Glover, Bruce Foxton, Bernie Calvert, Jesse Keeler, John Entwistle, Elliott Smith, Paul Duffy,   and – Lemmy Kilmister.  According to the Rickenbacker website: The Classic Rickenbacker Model 4003 Bass - is famous for its ringing sustain, treble punch, and solid underlying bass. A subtle strip of binding graces the elegantly curved body and the Rosewood fingerboard. Deluxe triangular inlays and stereo capability are standard features. Body and through body neck: Maple. Fingerboard: Rosewood with 20 frets. Scale ¾. Weight 9lbs. Dimensions: 44.75 inches long x 13.5 inches wide. Two single-coil pickups.
