Large Hand Forged Iron Lock and Key - This is believed to be the lock from a prison cell and we estimate it to be from the 1700s. It is iron. It exhibits multiple tool markings which are normally found on early forged iron pieces. We can not get the mechanism to turn and will leave that to the buyer. The front plate measures approximately 18.75 inches long, just over 8.25 inches, 3 inches deep. Condition We review every item to determine basic condition.
