1925 Watercolor Attributed To Boris Smirnoff (1903-2007) - Original watercolor painted on thick stock is dated 1925 and contains the signature B. Smirnoff on the lower right.  Smirnoff would have been approximately 22 years old at the time of this painting. The word Cagnes appears under the signature and is believed to be the location that inspired the piece Cagnes-sur-Mer, France.  We have confirmed that he would have been in that area during his early 20s.   The piece is in excellent condition with minor corner rubbings.  On the verso is writing in pencil and a name.  It measures approximately 15 1/8 by 12 1/8 inches.  We review every item to determine basic condition.
