Centerfold from Frank Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper from April 6, 1861. Portraits of seven men, one in the center surrounded by the remaining six. The men are: Simon Cameron, Secretary of War; S.P. Chase, Secretary of the Treasury; Gideon Welles, Secretary of the Navy; W.H. Seward, Secretary of State; Montgomery Blair, Postmaster-General; Caleb B. Smith, Secretary of the Interior; and Edward Bates, Attorney General. The bottom margin reads ”The Members of President Lincoln's Cabinet- From Photographs by Brady-See Page 311. Black and white. Condition Note: Page has been affixed on the upper edge to a protective backing paper, some paper wave/ wrinkle, handling edge wear, pencil writing lower right corner – I 295 - and mid-left margin – Cameron 95- . Measurements: Main Image 20 x 15 inches. Protected under mylar wrap on an 18 x 24 in foam core board.
