19th C Hungarian Folk Art Portraits (2) - Pair of 19th-century tempera on canvas, folk art, portraits of a man and a woman in traditional Hungarian attire. Both canvases are marked on verso with the year 1888 and the Artists name. Frame dimensions : 21.75 x 19 inches ( man in profile) , 20 x 23 inches ( woman forward-facing) . Condition notes: Both canvases show authentic age, are firmly mounted to frames and have noted chip/flake areas of pigment loss that would benefit from professional restoration.
