Large Victorian Cameo with Diamond in 14kt Gold - Extremely well carved antique cameo bust with approx. 12pt. rose cut diamond, set in 14kt yellow gold pendant - brooch. The shell carved cameo is estimated to be from the late 1800s. The frame is finely detailed 14kt yellow gold and features both a back pin and bail. The cameo carving itself is exquisite. The detailing includes a bird, flowers, and wings. It is among the finest of examples we have ever presented. It measures 2 1/2 by 2 1/16th inches.
