Made to be portable petite books. 13 maroon cloth-covered hardback books with gold titles and decorations on the spines. Books measure 3.25 x 4.5 inches each. Page edges on all volumes are dyed yellow. The box is an 11.5 x 3.5 by 5-inch maroon/brown cloth-covered heavy cardboard box case with a lid that has the name Shakspeare embossed on top (author's name spelled as Shakspeare without first ”e” throughout). Books are in very good antique condition. Box has heavy wear; lid is taped on. Please refer to images for the best determination of condition.
