Copper Plate: 1940s Horse Etching - Jolly Roger
Etched copper plate. The plate surface is paraffin protected. Image under paraffin reveals an etching of the famed horse – Jolly Roger with Jocky in uniform. Size : 15.75 x 14 inches. The plate comes with an example of the print produced, with shop notes from the 1940s by the original printer. NOTED: surface rust is noted, it is unknown how this impacts the image below the paraffin.
