Copper Plate: NY Academy of Medicine
Etched copper plate. The plate surface is bright and shiny, with no paraffin protection. Long term storage has been in a protective sleeve of butcher paper. Image reads; The New York Academy of Medicine with insignia than an area for stating name, date, and signatories, for inductees to the fellowship of the academy. 14 x 18 inches. The plate comes with an example of the print produced, with shop notes from the 1940s by the original printer. NOTED: mild wear to the copper plate from intended use.100% of the proceeds (hammer price) of this particular plate will be donated to St. Judes Hospital.
