Copper Plate: 1940s Horse Etching: Kentucky
Etched copper plate. The plate surface is paraffin protected. Image under paraffin reveals an etching of the famed horse: Kentucky. 13.75 x 16.75 inches. The plate comes with an example of the print produced, with shop notes from the 1940s by the original printer. NOTED: a condition of rust-colored marks over the paraffin coating is visible in images. It is unknown how this condition issue has impacted the plate below the wax.
