Gilded Age Era Marble Ice Cream Soda Counter - Gilded Age StyleCirca 1890s-1910 Robert M Green & Sons Marble Polar Counter was considered a state-of-the-art device for drug stores and general stores. It was featured in THE APOTHECARY in January 1909. This Marble Polar Counter is original and includes the original porcelain syrup inserts manufactured by International Pottery, Trenton NJ, and the syrup pumps of German silver. The majority of the counter is Italian one-inch thick marble. There are many parts that are included (refer to images). The Polar Counter was found on the second story of an Accord, New York barn which can be viewed on our website.
