1930s Torpedo Scoot Riding Scooter - 1930s Torpedo Scoot Red Steel Riding Scooter O'Connor Industries. Original red-painted all solid steel constructed riding toy scooter called the ” TORPEDO-SCOOT”. It is signed on the front in yellow paint by O'Connor Industries, Detroit Michigan. This scooter has three steel wheels and is quite structurally strong. It stands 25 inches tall and is approx. 23 inches long and 4.5 wide at its widest point. The heavy-duty steel wheels are 1.75 in diameter. The wheels are sturdy but do have surface rust. The 9-inch steel handle bars are attached at the top to the convex constructed front. The front attaches to the base with three bolts. It has some paint wear and flaking, some surface rust, and dents and dings.
