Woolly Rhinoceros Fossil Tooth Fragment on Stand, Pleistocene Period - Woolly Rhinoceros fossil tooth fragment dating to the Pleistocene period, circa 100,000 to 10,000 years before present. The fragment shows dark mineralized surfaces with visible enamel and interior root structure, mounted on a black display stand for presentation. Woolly rhinoceros remains are most commonly associated with northern Eurasian deposits, especially Siberia and surrounding Ice Age steppe regions. Measurements: Fragment: 1 5/8 in. H x 1 5/8 in.
