Nice Rattan & Bamboo Pasiking Basket-Backpack - Comprised of two sections of braided rattan for the body and lid. Braided straps secure the lid to the base as well as acting as the shoulder straps. Styles like this were known mostly in the early 1900's, at one point in the Philippines crafting of items died off, until it was clearly needed in order to recoup the economy. Size 13 1/2” H x 10 1/2” W Condition: Beautiful overall condition with patina from age and use throughout.
