Spanish Toledo Gilt Floral Dagger, circa 1851 - Spanish Toledo presentation dagger dated 1851, with a straight double edged steel blade and sharp reinforced point. The blade, guard, grip, and fitted metal sheath are decorated with silver tone and gilt floral scrollwork. The ricasso is inscribed with a Toledo marking and date. Accompanied by the matching decorated sheath. Measurements 14” overall, blade 7” Materials: Steel, silver tone metal, gilt decoration. Condition: Surface wear, tarnish, oxidation, and scattered scratches throughout. Decoration remains visible with age related wear to the blade and sheath.
