Pair of Victorian Steel Armor Gauntlets, 19th C. - Probably England or Continental Europe, Victorian era, late 19th century. Pair of steel armor gauntlets with flared cuffs, rolled rope form borders, riveted construction, and articulated wrist and hand plates. Each gauntlet has a scalloped lower edge with separate finger plates, giving the pair a historical armor display appearance. Measurements 12.5” L Materials: Steel. Condition: Shows patina, oxidation, scratches, rubbing, and surface wear throughout. Some plates show age related wear, looseness, and minor losses.
