Chinese Carved Green Hardstone Gu Form Vase, 20th C. - China, 20th century. A carved green hardstone vase in gu form, with a flared mouth, rounded central body, and spreading foot. The surface is decorated with archaistic style carved writing, a key fret pattern handle, a seal mark near the foot, and a floral scene carved to the lower body. The stone has a deep olive green tone with cloudy translucency, pale inclusions, and russet brown veining. Measurements: 6” H Materials: Green hardstone. Condition: Surface wear, natural inclusions, and brown veining throughout. Minor edge wear and small scratches consistent with age and handling.
