Indian Silver Baby Necklace - India, 19th to early 20th century. Composed of multiple strands of closely spaced, disc-form silver beads, strung on twisted fiber cord and gathered at the ends with simple knots. The compact, choker-like form and restrained construction suggest use as a personal ornament of intimate scale, possibly for a child. 10” Long Ex-New Mexico Collection.
