Excellent Moro Kris & Malay Twist core Sword - Excellent Moro Kris sword probably Visayan, Late 19th - Early 20th century. Double edge 5-wave blade inlaid in silver to a laminated steel etched blade. Hemp fiber cord wrapped grip with rare carved wood Kakatua pommel. Malay Rudus or Klewang sword distinctive to the Aceh or Pakpak peoples. Blade with rare pattern of laminated twistcore steel with obvious signs of significant age. Horn handle with hollow opening and semi serrated edge.
