Late 19th to Early 20th Century, Wood Carved Santo Head - Late 19th to early 20th century hand carved and painted wood santo head. Handsome wood carved Santo with original glass eyes. Painted throughout with a white pigment to the face, ears and neck, brown hair and long curled beard. Mounted on a custom wood stand for proper display. Size 6 3/4” H, weight 352 g Private Southern, California collection, ex-Prominent River Oaks estate collection, Houston, Texas. Condition: Minor losses to paint and wear commensurate with age.
