Agate Indo-Persian Pesh-kabz Dagger & Scabbard - Finely made Indo-Persian Pesh-kabz (pesh-qabz / pish ghabz) dagger with scabbard and agate handle. Handle with four piece smooth polished agate in dark green separated with thin copper. Suspension loop to the top of the handle with a strong brass central support to the blade. Knife with a single edge and wide spine probably wootz steel. Size 13” L Pesh-Kabz dagger or knives are specifically designed to penetrate chain-mail armour. Due to their small size and excellent construction the dagger can open riveted links without breaking and fatally puncture. Note the thick center section to the handle for strength during use.
