Rare Spanish Stirrup, 16th Century - Iberian Peninsula, Spain 16th century period in the Turkish form of chiseled iron with russet finish. One side with a decoration of Pegasus leaping over fire surrounded with Mer-men. The other with a lady in a puff-sleeved dress holding a mirror and surrounded by putti astride dragons below all within molded borders.
