Gilt Brass Buckler Shield, 19th-20th C. - Ornate gilded brass shield with eight large dome head rivets surrounding the perimeter. Some cold soldered points to the reverse probably with lead. Large turned brass top rivet to the center. Late 19th or early 20th century. Size 17 3/4” W, Weight 3 lb. Ex-Bill Scollard Sr. Acquired from a Los Angeles Estate circa 1970-90s Condition: Typical oxidization and light green patination over some surfaces.
