Cased Set of Italian Dueling Pistols - Cased set of large bore dueling pistols. Cursive ”R” under the crown & ”FAB. R. DI NAP” with the N in reverse (Napoli/Naples). Silver mounted throughout with Gothic Italian scrolling, blued lock plate, hammer, and two stage barrel. Barrel octagonal to round with engraved birds and bluing. Gilt marks throughout. Enclosed compartments in silver to butts. Intricate floral carving to the grip. Size case 13 /12” L x 9 1/2” W x 2 1/4” H, pistol 12 1/4” W, barrel 7 1/2” L. Ex-Southern California Collection
