European Partisan Polearm, Italian Mid-16th C. - Early Italian partisan pole arm of the mid 16th century period. Wide double-edged triangular blade with a raised medial ridge on either side. The base with curved upturned spikes one worn and a socketed base. Probably with original shaft or very early shaft including a well worn lower spike. Ex-Higgins armoury museum collection.
