Ifugao Shield, Luzon Province - Finely made Philippines Luzon shield of the Ifugao tribe in a dark black patina and rattan wrapping. Carved with three legs to top and two to the bottom with a deeply convex center section to accommodate the handle. Obvious signs of wear from age and use including wear to one side of the handle.
