PNG Painted Wood Dance Shield - Oceania, Papua New Guinea dance shield or possibly ornamental dance fan with a beautifully painted surface in orange, white, red and black pigments. Constructed of a cone shaped with two affixed panels strung with rattan. Painted in geometric patterns to either side. Size 26” H x 18” W Ex-Southern California Collection Condition: wear commensurate with age and use.
