US Cavalry Sword & Scabbard, Revolutionary War Period - Hand made revolutionary war period sword and scabbard, late 18th century. Hand made with a composed blade, hilt and guard. Handle with steel grip over wood and an exposed top section for the absent hand guard. Crossguard installed in reverse with an upturned section to the left and pierced with six holes and two long vertical openings. Single edge curved blade. Scabbard in all steel. Size 38” L Ex-Southern California Estate Condition: wear commensurate with age and use
