One-hand Spiked Flail, 19th C.
Early Victorian or older flail in the one-hand style with a wood ball and numerous iron spikes. Size 27" L, pole 13" L, mace head 4" L

Depicted in art as a quintessential medieval weapon of nearly all European armies, spiked ball and chain are extremely rare and few examples other than 19th c. variants exist and often represented with a wood shaft.
