African Horned Helmet Crest, Idoma Peoples - West Africa, Nigeria, Idoma peoples horned helmet crest. Carved in wood with a bowl base (wormed but not pierced). Long slender neck with a black painted upper section under the head with is carved with light black highlighting. The top of the head with two horns affixed. Size 15” H Condition: split to the rear, wormed, light scratching, wear commensurate with age.
