French Flobert Gallery Pistol, 19th c. - French flobert gallery or target pistol with large caliber barrel. Rifled octagonal barrel with front and rear sights, engraved to the back section with scrolling. Mark to the left side of barrel. Proof mark underside of barrel reading (ES) under the crown. Engraved steel mounts to the butt, trigger guard, and hammer. Fluted butt with carving to stock of scroll work. Size 15” L, barrel 8 3/4” L Ex-International Arms and Armour Collection Condition: Patination and wear commensurate with age and use.
