Leman Fur Trade Kentucky Rifle, Double Stamped - Fine Leman, Lancaster Pennsylvania percussion long double stamped fur trade rifle, circa 1840's. Percussion lock plate with engraved scrolling motifs to lock and hammer. Heavy rifled octagonal barrel marked to the top (H. E. LEMAN, LANCASTER, PA) & (WARRANTED). Barrel marked at front of muzzle (1) with gilt brass forward sight. Original brass trigger guard. Fine maple or tiger maple stock.
