Philippines Luzon Tabak Short Sword, Late 1800's - Philippines Archipelago, Luzon Region, late 1800's. Heavy short sword in the Tabak style including leather sheath. Sheath marked with some inscription. Lightly curved single edge blade with a flat tip. The collar and pommel in steel with a carved carabao horn grip carved with linear recess. Size 19 1/4”L, blade 14” L Ex-California Collection Condition: Excellent preservation with an oil coating to blade for maintenance of the blade and sheath.
