Main Gauche Dagger, 17th c. style - European main gauche parrying dagger, 17th century style. Primarily an off hand weapon to be used in conjunction with a rapier. Rivets to the sail guard with straight twisted quillion. Blade a double ege with the top side having some scalloping and varied edge details. Ricasso with two pierced openings below and chiseled to the sides. Grip twisted wire over wood. Pommel hand peened over. An antique dagger probably dating circa 1800's made in the 17th century style.
