Scarce and heavy European siege weight suit of armor in the 16th century hand wrought Anima / Anime style. Exceptionally well made suit of armour in all hand tooling with noticeable signs of hand hammering to the interior and working to the edges in a scalloped design.

Helm three piece skull consisting of a rear horizontal plate and upper rear skull plate with a riveted solid gothic style front plate. The visor and ventail deeply protruding and pierced to the left side with breaths. Lower plate / Gorget of multiple lames forward and rear, retained with a hooked latch at either side. Breastplate & Backplate in matching late gothic style with a heavily roped upper section and series of multiple riveted plates to the lower haft in a similar fashion to Gothic or Polish armour used in eastern Europe. Arm defenses each consisting of multiple plates of scalloped lames(loose to the rotating upper cannons). Tassets with additional scalloped borders and riveted together(loss to leathers). Leg defenses with matching decoration to edges and additional styling in the anime fashion.

For a similar armour in complete 'Anima' see Stibbert Museum Armoury Collection Inv#3959.
