Brass Lotus Shoe Artisan Hammer, 19th century - Chinese artisan Lotus show production hammer, circa late 19th century. Used by artisans in the manufacture of fine lotus shows. Twisted handle with square base. Large hammer head with a flat face substantial weight and downturned back. Engraved with scenes of lotus flowers and illegible inscription to the top of the hammer.
