Pair 'Famille Rose' Stem Cups, Qing Dynasty 1636-1911
Chinese Porcelain, Qing Dynasty, 'Chrysanthemum' Famille Rose, Pair of 'Shallow' Stem Cups with old labels. The pair of cups both feature a Chrysanthemum pattern and are well decorated with enamel painting of floral, tree, and fruit bat arrangements in the typical Famille Rose style. The top lip is gilt and shows signs of obvious age throughout in natural pitting and wear; 5 1/4" W x 3" H
Wong collection, Los Angeles, CA, US, Mr. Wong was a Hong Kong government translator and court interpreter and amassed his collection in Hong Kong during the mid-1900's-1978.
Condition: chips to foot rim, minor pitting throughout, minor loss to enamel
