German M1821 Officers Infantry Sword w/ Scabbard
German Model 1821 saber from the royal manufacture of Klingenthal produced 1822. A fine original scabbard with loose mounts. Single edge curved blade which is inscribed to spine (Manuf. Royale du Klingenthal juillet 1822). The handle gilded brass in original untouched condition with a two pronged guard, short tailed cap, wooden handle and copper wire wrapped (most missing) with calf skin grip. Size 35" L, blade 29" L
Condition: Deterioration and lose to grip, lose to tip of scabbard and other flaws.
