Scarce Cuirassier Breastplate Armour, Napoleonic Era - Scarce European probably Imperial German Cuirassier breastplate armour in peasecod belly form of the Napoleonic-era 1799-1815. Embossed with a raised central ridge of noticeable protrusion, low shoulders sections, and a well formed belly. Struck with a makers mark to the center of the breastplates lower Fauld above a large brass rivet. All original oversized brass rivets approximately 30 in total. Remnants of the original leather liner and edges. Reverse coated with a thin blue paint for preservation.
