Moro or Sulu Gunong w/ Green Horn Handle - Southeast Asia, Philippines Archipelagos, probably Mindanao region. Nice Moro gunong dagger, late 19th to early 20th century. Light colored horn handle. Copper collar with light engraving in geometric patterns. Guard in copper with linear details of leaf like shapes. Double edge blade with a wavy ricasso section and straight blade thereafter. Size 10 1/4” L, blade 6 5/8” L Ex-California Collection Condition: good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
