Indian ”Pata” Gauntlet Sword - Zoomorphic embossed Indian Pata gauntlet sword, circa late 19th century. Brass embossed tiger form gauntlet handle with red and black pigment highlights. The boarder with engraving mimicking roping. Decorated to resemble strips with six loops of dangles in brass. Double edged blade with some oxidization, rapidly tapers to a point.
