Rare Ifugao Wood Carved Helmet, Philippines - Ifugao, North Luzon, Philippines. Intricately detailed Filipino wood carved helmet from North Luzon. Three lizards carved in high relief to the top of the helmet with incised eye and mouth details, a slightly protruding nose. Ears pierced with suspension holes for braided fiber to secure to the head. Size 8” W Condition: Wonderful preserved condition throughout.
