Early Nepalese Kora Sword, Mid-18th c.
South Asia, Himalayas, Nepal. Early example mid-18th century Kora sword with characteristic elephant ear shaped blade. Guard and pommel with a large flat disc and hand peened over. Handle wrapped in flat ebony or indigo cotton tattered from use. blade 28" L overall, blade 20" L
