South America, Argentina. Silver and gold presentation gaucho knife in massive proportions. The scabbard with open panels exposing an interior of tooled leather as well as pierced openwork silvered panels. The blade a broad single edge with a makers mark stamped to the side. Excellent state of preservation and polish. Size 18 1/4" L, blade 10 1/4" L
