Asante Gold ”Bird” Ring - West Africa, Ghana and Cote d'Ivoire, Akan Cultures, Asante peoples mid to early 20th century. Lost wax casting of a bird over a nest or resting. Acid tested at 10k gold and mostly dissolved indicating very low Kt gold content or heavily plated. Weight 26 grams. Condition: misshapen from time and use, some loss, surface wear
