Spanish Miquelet Flintlock Rifle, Late-18th c. - Nice Spanish flintlock muzzle loading rifle with traditional Spanish detailing throughout. Octagonal to round barrel with original blue finish. Barrel marked with numerous proof marks and stamps including 9 crosses, Spanish bull, and the crown over 'NIC, SIC'. Lock plate with a signature appearing to read ”GONA NANASTHI”. Gilt brass mounts in ornate designs of birds and scrolling engraving. Single silver plate to the stock before the barrel. Well carved and heavily checkered wood stock.
